Pretty Little LIARS

For those of you who have been hiding under a rock and haven't watched Pretty little Liars.... DON'T DO IT!!! Kidding. But seriously it is so addicting. Don't get me wrong it is a great show, with pretty good actors but it gets you hooked! I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHO A IS AND WHO TOBY IS PART OF THE A TEAM!! Simple questions right? well i doubt we will find out either of those answers this season.

I have to say though they have given us more this season then they ever had. We found out Mona and Toby are on the A team. We found out that the main A is a girl. Who killed Maya. That Aria's dad was getting blackmailed by Ally but didn't kill her. That Meredith is a PSYCHO! That Jenna can see. That Garrett as suspicious as he was didn't kill Ally and now he is dead.That Mr. Fitz has a child and a family and is rich! Spencer's parents are actually nice.. who knew? And That Caleb is perfect! HE BETTER NOT BE ON THE A TEAM TOO!!!!! and Spencer finally found out that Toby is on the A Team!

Things we still don't know.... Who the main A is. Why Toby is on the A team? What did the lairs do to Toby and Mona to make them hate them so much? What Jason's deal is? Is Ally still alive? Why are Jenna and Noel SO SKETCHY? What does Lucas have to do with all of this? Is he bad or good? Wren.... why does he always pop up that the sketchiest times... Who killed Ally? Why is Ezra dating a student and why does he keep so many secrets? Who killed Garrett? Who killed Ian? Is Paige really good? Where did the weird cop Darren go? and where did Mike, Aria's brother go? Is Meredith really that crazy?? What does Melissa have to do with it?What did Ally really do that summer? and  Who all did she see that night?? Did I miss any? 

I don't know about y'all but I am really looking forward to the rest of the episodes of 3B. Spencer found out last night that Toby is on the A team and I'm interested to see when the rest of the liars find out and what his reasoning is. 

Well if you don't watch it, the first two seasons are on netflix! They are really good but remember they are addicting!!! You can't just watch a few and then the next week watch a few more. This will be one of those stay up for 3 days and watch them ALL! ha And if you are like me and like to read spoilers I have found a lot out at Wetpaint.com.

Better late than never.

I know January is almost over but I still wanted to do a post about my New Year Resolutions.... Here they are....

1) To do a 30 Second dance party everyday.... It's the little things that make you happy. haha
2) Finish my Devotional- This was one of mine last year and I'm happy to report that I got almost through my one from last year... I'm about 100 pages short. Hey, It's better than noting.
3) To start the Read the Bible in a Year devotional. This has always been one of my  goals and I think it's time to do it.
4) To be genuinely nicer to everyone and truly learn to let things go. I have grown so much in this department in the last year but I still have so much more to learn!
5) To travel more. I have started doing this more too but I want to do it even more. When an adventure presents it's self I just want to GO and not think about it! Also I want to visit all my friends that live in different places at least once before the year is over.
6) To cook more. I kind of got lazy and stopped cooking or would cook easy things that I cook all the time and I want to start cooking at least one different thing I've never cooked before a week...

Well wish me luck that I can accomplish all of my resolutions!

Nashville

This past weekend I went to Nashville to see one of my best friends, Mary Catherine... aka Mary. haha. It was such a fun relaxing weekend. I love Nashville and Mary's apartment. Friday we were lazy and just watched TV. She got me addicted to ANOTHER show... House Hunters. LOVE IT! Saturday we went to the frothy monkey for breakfast. It was such a cute fun place and they had amazing coffee. If you ever get a chance you should go.

We went and had brunch with a few of her friends and then got ready  for our night out at Mercy Lounge. IT was such a fun night. We got to hear new bands that haven't made it yet but THEY WERE SOO GOOD!!

Then Sunday I had the dreaded drive back but it wasn't THAT bad except for the whole rain thing....

Sunday was also mom's birthday. Dr B and I cooked Shrimp and Grits for us and some friends Sunday night. I have to say they turned out pretty good! Monday night we went to Chucks for family dinner plus Jami. Chucks never lets you down. I have recently decided I like Martini's... Yes I feel like Carrie from Sex and the City and LOVE every minute of it.

I have had a full week of work. I'm off Friday this week but tonight I'm going to see JUSTIN BIEBER!!!!! with Jami and Kendyl! Trust me I will blog about this tomorrow because I feel like a little kid the night before Christmas... I'M SO EXCITED!!!!! No judgement please...

It's been rainy here for like a week but good news is it's suppose to the sunny Saturday!! Happy Wednesday everyone!

Welcome to Miami

Well tricks we went to Miami this past weekend. The cousin's plus Jami drove 13 hours. It was a LONG drive but we made it. Our parents were a little skeptical about 5 girls driving by ourselves ( with our handy dandy just in case travel bag)  We had a few bumps in the road and a few Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits from whataburger ( if you haven't had this then YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!) but we made it safely!

It was an awesome trip. We got in Miami about 11 Sunday morning and just piddled around. We went to Van Dyke Cafe and sat beside Dick Vitale, which was pretty cool, and we went to the beach and just looked around. That night we went to this place Josh likes and ate right on the water. It was so pretty. He also took us to his secret spot that had an amazing view. Then we went and had drinks at this neat outdoor mall type place with music. It was a fun but busy day!

Monday morning we woke up and GOT READY FOR GAME DAY!!!! My parents got there around 1 and we finished getting ready and went to DASH. We still aren't sure if Kim  was in there or not but they locked the store for over an hour and wouldn't let anyone in. So of course we waited until they finally let us go in. While we waited we ate at this little restaurant beside Dash that had the best Pizza and Best Margaritas. Like seriously the best.

 We walked down to 8th and Ocean, me and Cayla have always wanted to go there since that silly TV Show about the models. ha We finally got to go in DASH and we all bought a little something. I got a candle that smells amazing.

Then it was time to go to the game and tailgate. We got tickets to the Fan zone and saw  Luke Bryan in concert!! Jami, Rebecca, Phylecia, Kylee, and Braxton were all there too. I love him so much and fell even more in love with him after this trip. We danced our little hearts outs. haha

After this we went into the game. Cayla and I sat together and Kylie and Katie sat together. They sat right behind mom and Dr. B and had the best seats!! So during 4th quarter we walked down there and stood with them. Joshua got into the game for $40 i repeat FORTY DOLLARS!!! Lucky duck!! The game was fun and even though i was a little disappointed that I only got one piece of confetti I still had an amazing time!!

We got up Tuesday morning and drove to ORLANDO! Where we got to go to Harry Potter World!!! If you know me then you know this was the highlight of my trip. SERIOUSLY! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Harry Potter. It was like you walked straight into Hogwarts. We rode the ride where it was like you were flying on the broom and went into almost every shop. We also tried butterbeer ,which was different. ha. It was such a cool place. I wish we would of been able to stay longer but we had to get home to Tuscaloosa. We drove a few more hours then got another hotel room and got up Wednesday morning and drove the last 4 hours.... We also stopped and got another Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit.

This was a sign at the restaurant we ate at beside Dash. hahaha It just made me giggle.

I hope everyone had a great time watching the game weather you were there, at home, or at a bar. I loved Miami and loved getting to hangout with my best friend, Josh, who lives there. I hope everyone loved this weekend as much as I did. Work on the other hand I do not love right now... I still haven't caught up on my sleep.

Our dad's and basically the whole side of that family are Notre Dame fans so we are looking forward to our next family function... Which happens to be Monday. Wish us luck!

busy bees

I feel like I have been going going going nonstop since Christmas. So here is a little update on my life the past month. 

Side note... work is for the birds... not getting a Christmas vacation isn't fun.... BRING BACK WINTER BREAK! 

We had our annual Christmas Party at Kayla's the Saturday before Christmas. It's so weird how much our Christmas parties have changed as we have gotten older. We just all bring food and drinks and just hangout.  We also had another Christmas party that night at Curtis' house. They were both so much fun and I love my friends oh so much!

One of my best friends Sandy came home for Christmas and brought her sweet baby Hayden. I love getting to have lazy nights in with them.

Christmas was a mess at the McMahon/Browne house this year. We had so many Christmases to go too. I am not a HUGE fan of Christmas food but I suffered through it. We had a wonderful Christmas and I am so blessed to have the family I have. We have Christmas Eve with my dad's family and Christmas Day is split up between time with dad, time with mom, and time with Dr B's fam jam. We all got so many wonderful things this year. On Christmas Day after we finish presents we ALWAYS watch as many movies as we can that we got for Christmas. This might be one of my favorite parts!! Christmas night we have homemade spaghetti that mom cooks and everyone comes over and eats. YUM!

Next was new years! We stayed in town this year . Kortney's birthday is on New Years Day so we all had a little get together at Curtis' house before we went out. It was fun we had food and drinks. Just a good time! I of course couldn't find ANYTHING to wear and had to borrow something of Jami's... this is very typical. The next day we went over to Clay's house to celebrate Kortney's birthday day again. We played mine and Jami's favorite game.... PHASE 10. If you haven't ever played it I highly recommend it.

A few nights later we cooked dinner for some of Jami's High School friends, Blake and Miller were home for Christmas. We cooked Chicken Enchilada Pasta. We have made it before and it was an even bigger hit this time. What started out as a few people coming over to eat turned into us all hanging out all night. It was a lot of fun but work the next day wasn't...

I still haven't seen ANY movies this Christmas... this is very unlike me. I love movies especially once that come out in December and Summer. ha but I will be going to see the Hobbit soon... I hope.

Week in review

These last two weeks have been very hectic. I don't feel like I have just had a minute to myself not to mention a whole night. But its okay because it's ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!!

One of my good friends owns a store in Dothan, AL called the Freckled Frog and last Tuesday we had a Trunk Show for her. We had a great turn out and it was fun to try on all the different clothes. If you haven't you should like her facebook page!

Last Friday my friend Kayla graduated from Law School. YAY! We all went to dinner to celebrate then had a girls night... well a girls weekend! Saturday night our favorite band was playing Whiskey River Band and we had a Tacky Christmas Party to go to. We dressed up as 2 snowmen, 2 gingerbread men and a reindeer. needless to say we were a hit at the bar. We homemade our whole costume which was fun but a lot more work then we realized.

Monday night was an end of an era.... Gossip Girl ended. I'm still not sure how I feel about this. I loved this show and all their drama. Especially Blair and Chuck. I think almost everyone wants their own Chuck Bass... I know I do. But out of all the shows I watch that have ended this has been my most favorite.It was just a very happy ending and everyone was happy ( especially Chuck and Blair and their cute son!!!!) and I was okay with who Gossip girl is. Even though now I want to go back and re-watch everything and see if it makes sense. I just hope it really is true that they are coming out with a movie.

Last night I went to moms and cooked dinner and we made some goodies. If you haven't tried the Kraft Fresh Takes then you should. You buy them in the grocery store by the cheese and it is just seasoning that you can put on chicken. It is easy and taste WONDERFUL!!! I dip the chicken in butter then into the seasoning then bake for 30 to 45 minutes on 350 and it's done.

We also made Oreo balls, chocolate covered everything, mini cakes, and the cute reindeer cokes. It was a fun night hanging out with ole Pammy.

I felt like it took me weeks but I finally got all my Christmas cards out and I'm almost done shopping. A few more little things here and there and one but thing but after that I'm DONE! This is the first Christmas ever that I have been a head of the game. and I still have a whole weekend to shop.

Sister got a new dog... Jax. Him and Riley are Best Friends! They run and play all day long ha they love each other. I think Riley is just a friendly dog because every dog she meets she is best friends with them.

This is something I would say and it made me laugh. If you know me you know I am not strong even a little and at one point I couldn't do a push-up.  Just so y'all know I can now do FIVE! 

This is my favorite bible verse and it has been popping up everywhere lately so I just wanted to share it!

Christmas Stache

Merry Christmas from Casey and Jami's house! This is our first ever Christmas to decorate for real living on our own! We love Christmas and love all of our decorations! I don't know about y'all but growing up I always hated putting Christmas decorations up because I had no say in it and we had to do what ever mom wanted... well this year we got to decide and I loved every minute of it. But don't forget what Christmas is really about. I wish everyone that reads this blog would do something nice for someone in need or even just a complete stranger... You could do something as simple as smiling and wishing everyone you see a good day to paying for the persons meal behind you in the drive-thru or getting a present for a family with small children. Christmas is not about what you receive but about spreading joy and God's love. So try it! Please I promise you will feel better about yourself and you will have made that persons day.
