I was unaware of this wonderful holiday until earlier today. Someone tweeted it ( thank goodness) but now I can honestly say it is a day I will celebrate from here on out!
Margarita's are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! MY family gets Mexican every Friday night basically for the margaritas. So this holiday was right up our ally!

We also made margaritas and watched American Idol.
Phillip Phillips is already my favorite from this season and He made it to the top 24! I can't wait till I can start voting for him!!

I hope you all had an amazing Valentines day!! I did! I spent it with friends and family drinking wine, eating and talking. Just having fun! and I told all my wonderful friends how much I love them and how blessed I am to have them in my life! I hope all of you did the same. Because that's all that really matters in life. Love. The big things wont matter later but love will always matter so love God, Love your family, love your friends and love everyone!!
Well it seems all anyone has been talking about for weeks is Valentines day and weather or not they love it or hate it! Personally I LOVE IT! I guess I love it so much because I am a hopeless romantic and I love love. I'm a typical girl who runs from it but I do think everyone has their PERFECT guy out there their soul mate. As much as I love Valentines day I think you should do special things for the people you love and care about all through the year and not just on one special day. But to me there is something magical about valentines day. A day where everyone tells the people they love that they love them. That doesn't really happen that much that everyone does the same thing. This Valentines day I'm single ( and YES I STILL LOVE VALENTINES DAY) so i will probably hangout with my friends and drink wine and watch girl movies. One thing I don't like about this day is that people who are single seem to hate it. I think this is dumb just because you don't have a "boyfriend or Girlfriend" doesn't mean you aren't loved and shouldn't celebrate all the people you love and that love you. So I think everyone should make sure they tell someone they love them on Valentines day and try and do something spontaneous! I also think anything can happen on Valentines day. I'm done with my rant so here are 14 ( for Valentines Day being on the 14th ha) of my favorite movies to watch on Valentines day!!
1)Because I said so
One of my favorite movies of all times!! I can watch this OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!
2) The Notebook
I mean really it can't be a day about love and you not watch this movie. It is one of the best love stories ever!
3) She's All That
People forget about this movie but it is one of the greats!! I love it!
4) Easy A
I love Emma Stone and 80's movies so this has a perfect combination of both!
5) Sixteen Candles
Like I said I LOVE 80's movies! The music the plot just everything! LOVE LOVE LOVE
6)It's Complicated
This movie gives you hope that even if you get divorced you can always find Mr. Right and its so funny!!
7) Something Borrowed
Both of these movies have John Krasinski. Enough said.
8) 10 Things I Hate About You
This is just a classic. and it has Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in it.
9) A Walk to Remember
Another one of my favorites. Its just good!

You have to have to watch at least one movie with Julia Roberts in it.

This is one of my new all time favorite movies!! It is so funny AND it has Emma Stones and Ryan Gosling!!

woah it has been so long since I have blogged. This post is going to be about life, friends, movies, and Kristen Bell.
life well it has been a rough few months for me but about 3 weeks ago I had a realization and I started reading a new devotional. I woke up one morning and realized how great God is and how bad alot of people have it and what I am going through is nothing compared to them. Today I was having one of those days and then I got a note from one of my dear friends Jessica and again it was like God telling me Casey you're life is GREAT! and he is right!! I am so blessed! so This post is dedicated to Mrs Jessica Clayton ( read her blog its AWESOME!) because I am so blessed to have such a great friend!
If you are looking for a devotional to read please read GOD GIRL. It is amazing and it does a really good job relating verses from the bible to real life situations. It has really changed my outlook on life. It talks about how it starts out as simple things like being nice to everyday people. That hit me hard because I know I'm nice to my friends but I don't know if I am genuinely nice to random people. Well I am now! But everyone should read it!
I'm going to brag on myself right now. first off I did good in school this last semester and now I'm looking for jobs. I hope I have this one but I'm not sure yet. If I do get it then I will be moving in with my friend Jami! I am PRAYING I get it because I am so ready to move out!! If I do move out then I will be paying all of it by myself which is a first but something I am ready to do!!
I literally can't contain my excitement for a few upcoming events...
-The Oscars!! I have very very very high expectations for the fashion and I hope its even better!!
-The hunger games movie!! I just reread all the books and they were even more amazing then the first time!!
They just released a new trailer and it is the best one yet!!
-The grammys I just love this awards show it might be my favorite! I just love everything about it. I hope my love eminem is there!!
-The vow it is going to be the typical girl movie but I'll be there with bells on so excited to see it!
-SPRING BREAK! I am so excited about going on a girls trip ( which is just what I need!)
There are a few other movies that are coming out but I'll talk about them later!
This weekend I am going to Florence for stepsing! GO PHI MU!! I am so so so excited to see all of my friends!! I feel like it has been ages since I have seen them. It should be a very fun and interesting weekend!

in case you didn't know this I love history. I especially love things about the Holocaust. I know it was a tragic tragic event but something about it is so interesting. So when I stumbled across this book I knew I just had to read it. Sarah's Key.
It is about a small girl who was Jewish and lived in Paris (not Germany) The Paris police came and got her family in the middle of the night. During all the chaos Sarah told her little brother to hide in the small hidden cupboard that locked and that she would be back to get them. As you know she didn't because she had to go to a camp. They took them to a coliseum type building and they stayed in awful conditions. Then they took them to a camp where they took the fathers first then the mothers. Every Father and mother that left that camp died. They left the children at the camp and that's where Sarah escaped. Then in flashes to now and this lady is told to write a story about how the French police made over 2000 people go to camps in France not Germany. As she is doing research she discovers that her family has something to do with the things that happened that night to all the Jews. The rest of the book is about Sarah's life after the camp and the lady's life and everyone in it. You will need to read the book to find out what else happens. It is a very moving story about love, lost, and finding yourself. It is really a great book and a pretty quick read. It also is a movie that is coming out next month. Needless to say I will be seeing that movie as soon as it comes out!!

I have got to stop waiting so long in between posts!
I finally read a new book!! This is a very big deal because for the past like 2 months I have been in a book slump. I read two great books this summer and I was scared to read another one because I didn't think I would love anything as much as I loved those books. Well I finally found one!! Always Something There to Remind Me by Beth Harbison.
It is about a women who never really gets over her high school sweetheart. Yes, she moves on with her life and has a child, dates, and has a wonderful job. But when her boyfriend proposes to her, her first thought is of her high school boyfriend (who she hasn't seen in 20 years and had an AWFUL breakup). The book goes back and forth to from past to present and you really understand the characters. Of course she runs into her old boyfriend and that's when things really get good! Read to find out! This book does a great job capturing what its like to lose your first love and how you feel like the world is ending! This book was funny, sweet, sad and had a great ending. It was a book that you really didn't know what was going to happen. You knew what you wanted to happen but not what would happen. There were so many turns and loops. It was just great! I love books that get you thinking about your own life and this was a book that did it. During the whole book I was thinking about old memories and little things about my life.It also reminds you that you can't live in the past. You have to live in the present and look towards the future. It was an amazing book and it was just what I needed to get me out of my funk. It was just a fun, easy read and I loved it. I would recommend it to anyone.
I have decided that I'm still not ready to just start reading again so I am going to reread one of my favorite series. Queen of Babble. I'll let you know how it goes.

My favorite show came back on last night.... GOSSIP GIRL!!!! It came back with a bang! It had to considering they left off with Blair with the stupid prince Louis and not Chuck and that someone is preggers!!!! If you didn't watch it last night then you missed out!!! SPOILER! Blair is PREGNANT!!!! and it has to be Chucks baby!!!!! This makes me soooo happy!!!!!!!!!!
I never thought I could love someone as much as I loved Pacey (Joshua Jackson in Dawson's Creek)
Him and his partner Diane Kruger are my all time favorite couple ever! They are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! and perfect together! They are just so pretty. I love love love them!
and Seth Cohen ( Adam Brody in the O.C.) Him and Summer (Rachel Bilson) are my favorite TV couple ever!!! They are so cute and quirky! just love them! ( they were real life couple for a while but not anymore!!)
Rachel Bilson has a new show that comes on after Gossip girl!
The Heart of Dixie. It is good! She is a doctor that moves from NYC to Alabama. ha its cute and just a fun show. Watch it! but Chuck Bass has done it!!! He is my favorite! I love him so much and I get so mad when him and Blair aren't together!!! They are meant to be!
I just love him. He is so sweet but at the same time a bad ass. PERFECTION! This is one of my favorite shows. It really is good! Everyone should watch it!!
I read the books back in the day and the show isn't really any thing like them. The first season has a lot of the same story lines but it hasn't really had any since then. The books are a great teen read though.
In this season Nate is with ANOTHER older woman ( Elizabeth Hurley) The fashion is going to be amazing just like always!
and Serena, Nate, and Chuck are all in LA. And all seem like they are growing up and very happy!
(Chuck still loves Blair though he can't hide it!) Blair is in New York with Prince Louie and still engaged and also seems grown up.... not as much as the other ones though
Dont get me wrong I like Prince Louie but he just isn't right for Blair! and like I said before Blair is pregnant and the last person she slept with was.... CHUCK!!!! Blair is getting ready for her wedding but she keeps butting heads with Louie's mother ( she isn't Blair's biggest fan). Also Vanessa and Jenny aren't coming back this season which I'm not complaining about because I don't really care for them!
I can't wait to see what all happens this season it is starting out to be GOOD!
